11 Adult Struggles we have all gone through

For a person in their early 20's it's kind of hard for me to say that life is hard. Regardless let me say, life is freaking hard. I mean I never realized what crap my parents were going through when they were raising me. They had to constantly adult, where I can sometimes get away with having a small childish breakdown because no one is looking to me for answers. Adulthood can definitely get way too serious sometimes, so I have decided to lighten it up by letting Grey's walk us through the everyday struggles of Adulthood.

1. When you have to make your own Appointments

This is the moment when we realize there is no one there to hold our hands, and that when the doctors asks us what wrong we are gonna have to play real adult and tell them instead of having mom do it.

2. When you get your first real paycheck and feel like a boss

You have money, the world and all of it's cute shoes are in your hands!

3. Then you realize you spent all of it and you still have to make it through the week

You're broke, your stupid and you now have to live beside the local hobo.

4. Realizing that we can't always say the first thing that comes to mind

Being blunt with someone can often get you in trouble with the wrong people

5. Which brings us to remember the ease in talking behind someones back

When the person can't hear what your saying, it wont matter what comes out of your mouth.

6. When you hate your job but then you remember about rent

Resisting the urge to call in sick everyday you have to work is a very good step in the right direction to adulthood!

7. When you blame your parents for not being prepared for adulthood

"Maybe you shouldn't have cooked me dinner every day like a good mother! I am weak now because of you... Yes I'll have some cookies"

8. When you have to make your own food

"I think we've had Ramen everyday this week... Easy Mac then."

9. When you completely mess up, and the only person you can blame is yourself

You cannot predict the future. All you can do is say it wont happen again and then try to remember what you did to ensure that is the truth!

10. When life has overpowered you to the point where you are certifiably crazy

These are our frequent childish breakdowns that no one has to see

11. When it feel like you finally have it together, but have this feeling it's all going to end soon.

Whatever life throws at you, just remember that if you can make it through the die without dying, you've done your job.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
