When you think of being in your 20s you think youth with a whole life ahead of you, but there are things I and others my age are saying and doing that are making us feel OLD.
1. When you watch T.V. but it’s only HGTV or the Food Network.
2. When you go shopping but it’s for appliances, and you’re excited!
3. When you say something along the lines of: my joints are acting up the weather must be changing.
4. When you start using coupons and going places only during discounted times.
5. When you start telling Dad jokes.
6. When you say advice or sayings your parents say like “make good choices.”
7. When you gladly go to bed at 9:30 p.m.
8. When you have special ointments and prescriptions to take.
9. When you’re the “parent” or “grandparent” of your group of friends.
10. And finally when you go out to a Mexican restaurant and have “Chip Control,” which is when you can stop eating chips and dip before you get too full and can’t eat your entrée.
