So your GroupMe is blowing up and all your friends are texting you figuring out tonight's plan. If you're on the fence and can't decide if you're ready for a night out or if the new "Criminal Minds" season on Netflix is calling her name. Here's how to tell if you are, in fact, going out.
1. You had that mental conversation with yourself, deciding how badly your hair needs to be washed.
Badly. The answer is badly. That two-day messy bun isn't doing you any favors, girl.
2. You start to ask about car situations.
So who all did you say is riding in you car again? Is there room?
3. You start to make dinner plans.
So if you I go, do you swear we get Taco Bell?
4. You start to charge your iPhone.
Come on, let's be real, you only need a good charge if you're going out.
5. You make sleeping arrangements.
Either you're crashing at your best friend's house, your boyfriend's, or your mom's. You start to make a plan about where you'll sleep.
6. You check your gas tank.
Yeah, five miles past "E" won't get you anywhere. Well, not anywhere fun at least.
7. You pause the Netflix.
If you've reached this point in the process, you're almost certainly going out. For something to rank over Netflix it has to be real.
8. Makeup
So now that you kind of halfways decide that you may, possibly, just might go out instead of finishing your series, it's time to fix that smudgy eyeliner.
9. Condense
You start to condense your purse into a small wristlet or opt to slide some case and lipstick into a pocket.
10. Why not?
You have the "why the hell not" moment where you realize going out with your friends is going to be a lot more fun than "Criminal Minds." (Just this once).
So go out girl, have fun. Next week you probably won't have time, so you might as well jump on the opportunity.
