Summertime is a time for adventure. So get out and go! Here are 10 amazing places to visit in South Carolina.

1. Hunting Island State Park in Beaufort

Here you can enjoy a walk along the beach, hike a nature trail, climb to the top of the lighthouse, or just spend time relaxing. Hunting Island has it all. Located just 51 miles north of Hilton Head, Hunting Island will be a place you come back to year after year.

2. Lake Jocassee

Filled with cool mountain water, Lake Jocasse is the perfect place to be on a hot summer day. Several mountain streams and waterfalls run into the lake making it a fun place to explore. Located in upstate South Carolina, Lake Jocasse offers a little bit of everything, making it one of the top places to visit this summer.

3. Edisto River Treehouses

To reach your private treehouse located on the Edisto River, you will travel by canoe. You can stay for one or two nights, making this trip one to be remembered.

4. Hilton Head Island

Hilton Head may be small, but it has a little bit of everything. You can spend your days lying on the beach, playing golf, or exploring all the things the island has to offer.

5. Table Rock State Park
