10 Underrated TV Couples

We've all heard of Ross and Rachel, Nathan and Haley and Derek and Meredith. What about all of the other amazing couples that have graced our televisions for years? You never hear anyone calling another couple the "Kristina and Adam Braverman" of the group, do you? Here are my list of ten underrated TV Show Couples that have filled my heart with joy (and sorrow) over the years.

1. Monica and Chandler (Friends)

If you're a fan of the hit 90's television show Friends (aka if you have good taste at all) you're aware of the beautiful couple Chandler and Monica Bing. While it still may be a household couple name, Chandler and Monica's relationship didn't get as much attention on the show as Ross and Rachel, or even as much of a lasting legacy in terms of TV couples. We got to watch as this relationship blossomed from friends, to a night in London, and into a loving marriage. Chandler and Monica got through job troubles and fertility troubles and stuck by each other the whole way.

2. Lily and Marshall (How I Met Your Mother)

Now Lily and Marshall do get some credit here and there, but let's face it, the show's main romance is between Robin and Ted (yes, I am still bitter about the last episode, okay!). This show demonstrates a fun couple who was able to have an awesome relationship and still manage to stay close to their friends. They go through a rough patch, and they go through so many obstacles through the series but they always go through it together.

3. Quinn and Clay (One Tree Hill)

My personal favorite couple from the series was such a beautiful couple! A couple you didn't see coming who made it through so much together, including a surprise child and a shooting! Clay and Quinn are both very HOT people and have such big hearts! Nathan and Haley, Peyton and Lucas, and Brooke and Julian get much more attention than this power couple, but they're all such amazing couples. If you haven't had a One Tree Hill marathon on Netflix yet, start now! This series is full of cute couples and crazy times.

4. Leslie and Ben (Parks and Recreation)

Parks and Recreation is an entertaining show as it is, but when Ben came on the show it got so much better for me! Leslie Knope was getting the man that she deserves. Their taboo relationship blossomed through the seasons into a marriage and some beautiful children. They ground each other while making each other laugh. Goals.

6. Connor and Oliver (How to Get Away With Murder)

Yes, I know what you're thinking... "they started dating because Connor just wanted information from Oliver." I know! However, their relationship has blossomed to be so much more! This very attractive man with this dorky computer guy is such an interesting couple. They differ in such way that makes their relationship that much more exciting. Connor is obviously keeping so many secret from Oliver, but the way they would both do absolutely anything for each other as well as the way they are always there for each other makes their relationship so admirable.

7. Kristina and Adam (Parenthood)

Hands down the best couple in television history! Married for years, amazing children and a strong and supportive marriage! What more can you ask for? Through dealing with Kristina's cancer, Max's Asperger's and ever-changing daily struggles in their family it has made the Braverman family so much stronger. They're the couple you always aspire to be. Next time you refer to an amazing couple refer to them as Kristina and Adam Braverman.

8. Hanna and Caleb (Pretty Little Liars)

Even though Hanna is currently engaged to someone else and Caleb is currently in some sort of romantic situation with Spencer, I can't help but think this sneaky pair are going to end up together. This was easily the most stable couple of the show until the five year time hop happened and ruined everything. They have always been there for each other and Caleb has risked his life for Hanna multiple times without hesitation. I've caught myself daydreaming for a Caleb in my life.

9. Callie and Arizona (Grey's Anatomy)

Sadly, this power couple is no longer together (sorry, spoiler for those who aren't caught up!), but this couple was my absolute favorite from Grey's Anatomy for so many reasons. Arizona stepped up and was a parent to Sophia when she didn't have to be. Callie was there the whole way when Arizona lost her leg in the plane accident. Everything happens in this show and everything happened to this doctor couple and they still stuck it out. Unfortunately, they have parted their ways, but I am still hoping for a reunion!

10. Phil and Claire (Modern Family)

These two are so alike and so perfect for each other it is almost sickening. This married couple with three very different children surely have their arguments, but at the end of the day you can tell how much they love each other. They always find ways to spice up their marriage and to have each other's back every single episode. Also, they make for some really funny episodes!

There are so many great TV couples that don't always get the recognition that they deserve! I hope everyone finds the Chandler to their Monica, the Lilly to their Marshall, the Oliver to their Connor, or the Arizona to their Callie! What TV couples do you think are underrated? Leave me a comment, I'm curious which couples I forgot about!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
