Greek organizations are infamous for bringing together equal minded people with similar morals, values and ideals. However, within each house is the inevitable differences amongst each of its members that make the house unique as a whole. Although the types of personalities may differ slightly, there are 10 personalities that you can find in almost every house:

1. The Leader

More than likely, this is going to end up being the President. The one that has the interests of the organization as a whole in mind and can delegate duties to each of the members with grace and assertion.

2. The Motivator

This individual is always cheering people on whether it be for academic success, philanthropic achievement or sisterly accomplishments. This person is always go-to when you need a little push to start writing your essays or studying for exams.

3. The Studious One

The one who is always stuck in a textbook or studying for their next exam each and every time you see them.

4. The Frequent Party-Goer

You may have never seen this person crack open a book, but you can always count on them for a good night.

5. The Ghost Sister

You know this person is a part of your sorority, but if it weren't for weekly chapter meetings you would probably never see her because she is hardly ever around.

6. The "Mom"

Thank god for this sister, the one that is always looking out for others and making sure they aren't a complete mess like they usually are. This individual is the glue of every house.

7. The Infamous "Shacker"

This sister always keeps things interesting... and has the best stories the morning after a great party. Not to mention if you're in a relationship, you probably live vicariously through the exciting life of this sister.

8. The Crafty One

Whether it's making a sheet sign, decorating for bid day, or making posters for your philanthropy, you can always count on this individual to promote your house in the most unique and artsy way possible.

9. The Overachiever

As much as you admire this sister's accomplishments, you can't help but to feel a little down on yourself every time she talks about her next big achievement. Sometimes you can't decide whether she's bragging or if you're secretly wishing your life was just as put together as hers.

10. The Anonymous Snack Stealer

When you put leftovers from your favorite restaurant in the fridge but it seems to disappear whenever you go to retrieve it, you can always count on the sister who snags everyone's food to be the culprit. Unfortunately, this person is sly enough to never have her identity revealed...and if you're anything like my house, food is important. Food is so important that you may or may not have the maintenance man install a camera in the kitchenette to catch the one who is constantly stealing other's food.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
