1. Run or workout.
Running and working out will release positive vibes. Whenever you are feeling over-emotional, stressed, or weighed down, stop what you're doing and hit the gym. You'll feel a thousand times better afterwards!
2. Go for late-night walks.
Night air is refreshing. Spending time with yourself on a walk at night is a great way to clear your thoughts.
3. Get lots of sleep!
I know I just advised you to walk late at night, but don't go out so late that you stay up. Getting adequate amounts of sleep is essential for a strong semester. Seven to nine hours a night is the goal, but let's be realistic. This is college. Take a nap whenever you have 20 minutes of free time!
4. Eat chocolate.
There's not much else to say here. Yummy!
5. Actually study.
Don't get so stressed out that you give up and don't study. The best way to ensure you'll make a good grade is to guarantee you know the information.
6. Hang out with friends as much as possible.
Go out with your friends (when you're not studying or sleeping)! If you have a night where you don't have anything super pressing, let loose and go do something. Bowling, movies, a club, anything really just to get your mind off the stress of the semester.
7. Have a to-do list EVERY day.
Focus on one day at a time. Small goals will lead to great accomplishments.
8. Have a countdown until your last final.
Nothing will motivate you more than having a light at the end of the tunnel!
9. Let yourself cry.
Contrary to popular belief, showing your emotions is not a bad thing. Don't let things get bottled up inside of you, that will only cause more turmoil. Every now and then (two or three times a week), let yourself cry.
10. Start dreaming of summer again.
Be like Olaf and think about your upcoming sunbathing, vacations and laziness!
