It is the day we all dread, Black Friday. Your mom pulls you out of your warm bed to go out into the blustering cold to get "a deal." Here are some tips to survive the morning/day/night.
1. Coffee — lots of it.
Hot coffee as you wait outside in line. Iced as you are pulled into the over-crowded store.
2. Take a big purse.
Room for snacks, lots and lots of snacks.
3. As your mom runs around trying to find the deals you get a place in line.
Plus side, no walking around for you & no waiting in line at the end.
4. Layer up.
Cold outside & hot inside. The last thing you need is to sweat as you shop.
5. IT'S ALL ABOUT COMFORT.
6. Does Mom have a list? If not — MAKE A LIST.
We get what is only on the list! You're welcome dad.
7. Map it out. You know what store and when.
So Mom doesn't go to the wrong store searching for the wrong deal.
8. B.Y.O.B.
Bring Your Own Bag. . . or four. . . maybe five. Carrying around miscellaneous bags, never easy.
9. Do not forget your portable charger.
Not having a phone is worst case scenario.
10. Drag a friend with you.
After all they are a friend, even during Black Friday.
And that's it. You have survived! Now time to sleep.
