It's that time again. Back to stressing out over grades and not enough sleep. Getting back into the flow of new classes can be a huge adjustment!

Syllabus week can seem like a great week to relax and get into your party scene, but here are somethings to do during the day to help make your semester a great one!

1. Map Out Your Classes!

This seems like a really annoying task, but mapping out your day can really help to relax some of those first week jitters. You'll know how to get to each class the fastest and figure out some cool short cuts!

2. Read Your Syllabus

Every class has to give you a syllabus. It's going to explain what every professor expects from you this semester and what assignments are going to be handed out to you. It's also the best way to find out how to reach your professor.

3. Use a Planner

Find a planner that fits your lifestyle and put all of your important due dates in it. It will help keep you organized and to remember those little assignments that may get lost in the wood works.

4. Find an Extra-Curricular

A lot of schools have Club Fairs or an online site that you can sign up for clubs. There's a club for everyone, all you have to do is find it!

5. Explore

Walk around your campus. Find hidden benches or a field to study in. It's your campus, take full advantage of all of it's secrets.

6. Read Your Textbooks

Seriously. Your professors won't go over everything in each class. Brush up on that extra knowledge to help you understand everything a little better.

7. Remember Your Supplies

Make sure your always have an extra pen on you, and bring a couple extra notebooks. You never know when you'll need them.

8. Exchange Emails

This tip can save you. If you miss a class, having the email (or phone number) of someone in that class can seriously save you! You'll be able to get the work from the class when the teacher refuses to put the slides online.

9. Utilize Tutors

Tutors can be some of the most helpful people on campus! They are people who went through the same classes you did, and passed (most likely with an A)! Between them and a writing center, you're almost guaranteed to Ace those classes!

10. Use Your Phone

Call your friends, and call your family. You won't realize it, but you'll miss them soon and you'll be really happy you talked to them!

Make every semester, your semester! Good Luck!
