Season 12 of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" concluded Thursday, May 19 and following the finale, Sara Ramirez, who plays orthopedic surgeon Callie Torres, officially announced in an Instagram post she would be leaving the show after 10 years. Callie made her first appearance on "Grey's" in season 2 and gained the love of fans as the badass orthopedic surgeon through her 10 years. Fans first saw her as the intern with a crush on George O'Malley and watched her become a badass that they all came to love. Here are the times Callie Torres was the best character on "Grey's 'Anatomy."

1. When she danced in her underwear.

Callie Torres had so much confidence and happiness in herself and her body. Watching her dance it out in her underwear and find happiness within herself gave viewers the push to love themselves and find happiness and just dancing around the room.

2. When she survived her car crash and surprised everyone with the musical.

Admittedly, the musical was kind of weird, but Callie's singing while she fought for her life and Sofia's life definitely left viewers with the feels. Even though the musical was kind of awkward, Callie's singing was amazing and it was hard not to tear up as she fought for her life.

3. When she set her dad straight.

When Callie's dad showed up at the hospital after she got together with Arizona, she set him straight with the iconic quote "you can't pray away the gay!" Callie then informed her dad of her love for Arizona.

4. When she explained you don't destroy the person you love.

After George cheated on her with Izzie, an angry Callie snapped and yelled at a man explaining you don't really love someone if you destroy them. Being able to stand up for a patient and defend that true love doesn't destroy each other is really important.

5. When she defended her sexuality.

Callie explaining to Meredith about her being bisexual and it being a real thing was such a badass moment. Her confidence and ability to accept and love who she is will always be inspirational.

6. When she was an amazing surgeon.

Any moment of Callie working was amazing. She literally broke bones and put bones together for a living.

7. When she dropped the truth about sucking it up and living life.

In 10 years of "Grey's Anatomy" drama Callie Torres went through some serious drama. From her marriage to George O'Malley to car accidents, Arizona, and so much more. But through it all, she never stopped living or trying to be happy. This quote hits home every time something small you're whining about seems to take over.

8. When she literally lived in the hospital.

Remember when Callie was such a badass she lived in the basement of the hospital? Early Callie danced around in her underwear in the home she made in the basement of the hospital. Her confidence level was so inspiring when she was just the girl living in the basement and crushing on George.

9. When she still believed in love.

Callie Torres went through a lot of heartbreak on "Grey's." Her husband George cheated on her, then died; Arizona cheated on her and after several attempts to get through their problems they just couldn't; Erica Hahn, her first girlfriend, left her; Mark Sloan, her best friend died; and so much more. But somehow Callie still believed in love, second chances, and had hope everything would work out, giving hope to all fans.

10. When Callie and Arizona were too adorable.

Callie and Arizona, known as Calzona in the "Grey's" fandom, are one of biggest couples from "Grey's." In the most recent seasons, they haven't been together and have struggled, but when they got together, got married, and had Sofia, they were too cute. Callie's final scene was a hug with Arizona who encouraged Callie to go to New York to be with her new girlfriend, Penny, and that they should all be happy; however, somehow viewers still hold onto hope the adorable Calzona will return and end up together.

Goodbye, Callie Torres.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
