The worst week is upon us.

The week before spring break...need I say more? It is the most stressful week by far due to all the crazy professors giving us midterms all on the same day. All that is going to through the college mind is "is it too late to give up"? No one can focus on your midterms and when you do, it is only for about 10 minutes. The worse is when you have a planned vacation for your break and in that case, you really cannot focus because all that is going through your mind are the following scenarios, as told by the cast of "Pretty Little Liars."

1. All Of This Is On The Midterm?!

When your teacher tells you what is on the midterm, your reaction is like "All of this"!? You wonder how you will ever remember all of this in a matter of a week.

2. Why Do I Still Have Papers...

It is a week before break, so there is no need for more assignments. You secretly wish that it will all just go away so you keep putting it off until the last second. Can someone please do my work?

3. I Want A Bottle Of Wine.

You start to have moments where you decide if it's appropriate to have a one or two bottles of wine all to yourself.

4. Your Hatred Builds Up.

By the end of the week, you can't even speak to people without being semi-nasty or sarcastic. Your patience is worn down, and so is your nice personality.

5. You Cry/Complain 24/7.

Your emotions are on an all time high during this period of time. All you do is cry and complain about every little thing. You're hungry, so you cry about how you need food and then yell at people to get it for you. It's one of those weeks.

6. Can I Be On The Beach Now?

You just want to be on vacation, so you can tan and lay on the beach. Constantly you keep asking yourself when can I leave and be on vacation. Nothing is better than the beach right now.

7. What Day Is It?

You lose track of what day it is because you are so stressed. You're counting down the days until Friday and your vacation.

8. Can I Give Up?

By midweek, all you want is your bed and a bowl full of chocolate. You contemplate giving up and changing your career path ten times a day, but, in the end you know that's impossible.

9. You Have So Much Anger Toward Your Teachers.

You hate each of your teachers because they keep piling on the homework. Can't they just pause and understand how much stress we're under? Every bad grade they give you, you want to punch them.

10. It's Finally Friday!

The feeling you get after you hand in all your assignments and papers...YAY! It is finally over, which means you won't have to worry until after spring break.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
