Packing up your room just to move back into your actual room at home is definitely an experience. You’ll find things you didn’t know you had, or figure out how to pack everything creatively and efficiently, since you just happened to accumulate more “stuff” as the year went on.
For me, here are some thoughts I had while I was packing up my dorm room:
1. “Did I ever wear this?”
2. “How did I fit all this stuff in the car when moving in?”
3. “I should’ve vacuumed more than once.”
4. “When did I buy this food?”
5. “Why did I buy these textbooks and never use them?
”6. “I’m definitely not bringing more than ten t-shirts when I move back in the fall.”
7. “Wow, that’s a lot of dust in the corner.”
8. “These hooks are just not coming off the wall.”
9. “This is a great workout.”
10. “I’m actually going to miss living in this box of a room.”
