Nothing says you're "having a good day" like getting a new phone! Whether your old phone broke or you're getting a new one as a present, it is always a happy day. No matter what, we all have the same thoughts as we leave the store.
1. YAY!
The initial excitement feels like it will last forever. Having the latest phone, or even a phone that just isn't cracked makes you feel on top of the world.
2. This camera is amazing
New phone=new camera=better selfies. The math is pretty simple. Your Snapchat game will be better than ever.
3. So many new features!
If you even miss one generation of a phone, you seem to be five software updates behind everyone else. You won't want to put your phone down until you know the in's and out's of all of the new apps.
4. Everyone's going to be so jealous
You know everyone's going to want to play with your new phone and compare it to theirs as soon as you have the hottest new one.
5. Who should I text first?
The first move always seems critical. Do you text your BFF and let them know or hit up the whole group chat?
6. Which case should I get?
This may be one of the most important parts. The last thing you would want is your new phone getting scratched up, but you want to keep your style.7. My favorite part!
It becomes officially official as soon as you peel off that plastic coating. New products never felt so good.
8. Now I have to download all of my apps
Half of the time, we have apps on our phone we forgot were even there. Getting a new phone is a fresh start.
9. S#!%, I forget my password for [insert social media]!
Unfortunately, you will have to log back into your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. When we are so accustom to being automatically logged in it is frustrating to remember the passwords.
10. How long have I been staring at this?
Since your phone is with you everywhere you go, the first few days it is glued to your face. Everyone of your friends and family will be begging you to put it down.
