Summer vacation means no school, and no studying, right? Not for me. Having taken the MCAT last week and working in a research lab all summer, I don't stop studying this year. As I watch my friends on social media, I lament having to study, but I'm excited about how my summer is shaping up. So here are some thoughts I've had since school got out.
1. Wait. It's summer!
2. Right, so I should be able to sleep in!
3. No? Okay, fine, I'll study then I guess.
4. BUT WHY DO I HAVE TO??? Everyone else is living life.
5. Right, I'm taking the MCAT.
6. "Sorry, I can't I have to study."
7. "No, I'm not taking summer classes."
8. UGH.
9. Oh yay! A fellow summer study-er! Let's talk!
10. Can't, I have to study.
As much as studying while everyone else is on the beach, or sleeping till 12, is annoying, I'm glad I get to do this. Taking the MCAT is big, doing research full-time is big. And even if it's hard work, it'll be worth it in the end.
