There are many things that get me ridiculously happy but one that tops the chart is makeup. There is just something about sliding on some falsies and highlight that can make me feel like I can conquer the world. Any woman who is equally in love with make up as I am will agree with me on these 10 things:

1. Once you have learned to blend, you see things like this, cringe instantly and want to run up to the poor soul with a brush and just go to town.


2. The names Jaclyn Hill, Carli Byble and NikkieTutorials are just as prevalent as any Kardashian in your house.

3. Once you nail the perfect smoky eye for the first time you feel unstoppable.

4. Nothing feels greater than when your highlight is as bright as the sun.

5. The second your favorite YouTuber pulls out a new favorites video you want to go out and buy everything they recommend because their word is law.

6. You don’t wear make up for others you do it because its fun and transforming yourself into a bad bitch with glittery eyelids is so fun and rewarding.


7. Your make up is your baby and you treat it as such by diligently organizing it and showing it off in those beautiful clear containers.

8. Every time you get new make up you force someone to watch you unpack all of it and rave about it like your doing a YouTube haul.


9. Your hands look like this every time you leave Sephora/Ulta/Mac.


10. Brows are sacred and are meant to be treated with the best care possible. Bad eyebrows are our kryptonite.
