As the age of technology comes into maturity, more and more people are meeting online and less in person. From cuddle buddies, to travel partners, and even to relationships, the internet has made people more accessible than they have ever been before. And with that closeness comes more risk than ever before. The older I get, the more I end up meeting people online instead of in person and every time I’m terrified. These are some thoughts that go through my mind before every meet and greet I go to.

1. I hope their not an axe murderer...

We've all thought this. Those crime shows get to even the best of us.

2. Who do I bring to help me make sure he’s not an axe murderer

Gotta have that wingman!

3. I hope they're not a forty-year-old man in his underwear

it's an even worse date if they're ugly.

4. Does he think this is a date?

Is it a date? What is going on? I'm confused!

5. Do I come off axe murder-ish..?

does my profile picture reallyyyy look like that?

6. Am I supposed to bring money to this thing?

7. There’s no turning back now...

I'm here. I'm doing it. I must make it to the end!

8. I don’t want to get out of my car….

...or maybe I'll just pretend I got lost

9. Okkkk so far not an axe murderer… In fact, they are rather nice!

Ew. Why you have to ruin it by getting all touchy feely.
