We all love the summer months, June, July August. But what's the worst time for lake people..? May. May is the torturous month that lake goers are constantly questioning when they can be out. After all the waiting in the winter, you just want to enjoy some good quality lake time. Here are 10 thoughts lake people have in May.

1. Maybe we don't have to wait until June?

We all just need to be a bit more like Jason Derulo.

2. It's not too cold to jump in... right?

Wait the water is still only 45 degrees...

3. Only 2 weeks, 2 days, 4 minutes, 21 seconds until summer.....20 seconds... 19...

4. It's just wrong to be inside working. It's 75 degrees. I could be on the lake.

Ron Swanson says it best...

5. How many days until July 4th?

6. How cute would this "insert unnecessary item here* when I'm out on the lake?

You're right, that inflatable flamingo is really cute. Treat yo self.

7) If I call in sick, my boss will believe me right? I could be on the boat right now..

Yeah, that probably won't work.

8. What should my lake playlist be?

This is just something that needs to be planned ahead, you don't want to be caught off guard. Once you have this done, you can work on your dancing until Luke Bryan is proud.

9. I should get a life jacket for my dog!

This can finally be there year Fluffy gets out there with us!

10. How can I get a bikini body in 2 minutes?

I'm just gonna practice my truffle shuffle now...

In the end, the lake life is the best life. May can be pure torment for any lake person. Fear not, soon we will be out there.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
