Going back to school is one of the most exciting and least exciting things ever. Everyone is so excited to see their friends, and the town that they left for those three long months. Even if you're not a freshman, you still may have no idea where your classes are. I am an advertising major, but half of my classes are in the biology building. I have no idea why, but that is how college works. Waking up on that Monday morning comes with many mixed emotions.
1. I got to sleep in all the time this summer. Why do I have to wake up so early now? I am so sleepy! Okay, time for class. Let go.
2. What do I wear? Are people all going to be dressed cute? Can I wear sweatpants on the first day? Do I even have a style?
5. Alright, finally found that after an hour of searching. Oh cool, I do not understand a thing this teacher is saying. Is this English?
6. Well, only one more class for me today! Now I get to see my best friend who I haven't see all summer. I have so much to tell her!
7. One more class and I am done. Let's do this. School is a lot less fun and a lot harder than I thought. Can it just be summer, but still be at school? That would be so awesome.
8. Finally done with classes for today. I am so excited and he dismissed us early. Oh, I think I will really like this class.
9. Time for me to go home and watch some Netflix. Wait, my mom isn't here to automatically stock my fridge. What will I eat? Pasta it is.
10. Well, it is now nine at night. Time for me to go to sleep considering this is the last time I will ever get to bed this early. First day back to school is a lot harder than I remember.
Even though we sadly had to go back to hard work and classes, it is worth it because college is the best four, maybe five, years of our life. It is all worth it so one day we can get a job, but until then, I will just keep counting down until the weekend.
