You know it, I know it, we all know it... it's nearly here. The slept away days and Netflix nights are soon coming to an end. Here just a few of the thoughts that have run through my mind and I realize school's getting closer and closer.
1. Wait, summer's over?

We call this the denial phase. The phase of "where did summer go?" or "I swear it's the first day of June." Summer goes by quick, and we'll soon be back to hitting the books whether we are prepared to or not.
2. But that requires moving.
Moving back in means carrying everything in the blazing heat, and living in the south that also means humidity and possible showers of rain. Moving back in also means boxing everything up at home to unpack when you get there after having to climb the stairs or wait 10 years for an open elevator.
3. FRIENDS
After 3 months of not seeing your best friends, you're inseparable wanting to spend every moment together and catch up.
4. Bills, Fees, Expenses

Oh, you had a job this summer and saved money? Ha. There's tuition, textbooks, groceries, bills, rent, etc..
5. Realizing you still need to get school supplies and check your emails and school page.

The professor has already sent out the entire semesters worth of work before school even starts, it's fine, it's all fine. Deep breaths.
6. I'm in college.

You're now free to go back to doing whatever you want, when you want, because, well, college.
7. Being thankful for syllabus week.

I mean, at least I can still get some sleep and sort of pay attention.
8. The college uniform

It's that time a year again when absolutely no one will judge you for what you wear in public, pajamas, costumes, what you wore out the night before, big t-shirts, etc... just do you boo
9. Coffee. Monster. Red Bull. Early mornings. All nighters. Rinse. Repeat.

Being in school means being back on schedule. I have to be up when? I have a test Friday? What even is it? Can I sleep in the library?
10. But wait, there's more.

Football season is right around the corner, followed by basketball, baseball, etc. New events and job opportunities and all the plans you make with your friends.
