As UCF students, we've all either experienced or watched others experience the inevitable staircase climb to enter the Recreation and Wellness Center. As if incorporating time for the gym into our busy schedules isn't already enough of a challenge for students, UCF likes to test our limits with this one. The monster of a staircase at this entrance seems to be steeper and higher than most. It's no secret that the point of going to the gym is to get a good workout in, but this trek isn't usually the preferred method. As a pretty regular gym-goer, here are some thoughts I've had during my time on the steps.
1. Is this some kind of test to see if I'm physically fit enough to actually go to the gym?
2. Maybe it would be a good idea for me to just turn around and go back.
3. Can this count as my leg day?
4. ...and cardio?
5. Oh wow, she looks great! Two steps at a time? You go girl.
6. Does he even lift?
7. I hope I don't trip. That's a long way down and all those people at the crosswalk would see.
8. One day I'm going to come here and imitate that one Rocky scene.
9. I was not made for this.
10. I think I'll reward myself with pizza when I get home.

11. Should I be this out of breath?
12. How bad would it be if I took the elevator next time?
