Let's face it, we all have that friend if your friend group that has proven time and time again that she is a mom. She may not want to admit it or believe it, but she is always the one that reminds you just a little of the one who raised you back at home. Coming from someone who seems to act like her mother a little more every single day, any girl that feels this "mom" role in her friend group has probably said one of these things at least once to some of her friends. Here are 10 things you have said if you are the mom of you friend group.
1. "Are you really going out tonight after last night?"
Every real life mom and friend mom has definitely said this one. We just want to make sure your priorities are in check!
2. "Did you get home safely?"
This is probably one of the most 'mom' sentences ever, but let's be honest, some of those Ubers can be just a little too sketchy for our liking.
3. "How was your test today? I'm sure you did well!"
No matter how badly you think you did on your test, your friend mom will be there to cheer you up and convince you otherwise.
4. "Oh you feel sick? Make sure to drink lots of fluids and take Motrin, oh and make sure you're sleeping enough."
Because our moms have told us this since we can remember. The best cure to feeling sick is lots of OJ, Motrin, and sleep.
5. "It's cold out, maybe don't wear that crop top."
Because we know if you're cold all you will do once we are out is complain about how cold you are.
6. "I'm going to CVS, need anything."
Since we're always running errands for ourselves why not do yours for you!
7. "Yeah...don't do that."
Friend moms are always being cautious.
8. "Do we have everyone?"
Whenever traveling in groups, the friend mom is always the one to make sure we have everyone in our group. Because no one ever wants to feel like Kevin's mom did when she realized she left him at home in Home Alone.
9. "Just checking in!"
Friend moms just want to say hi! And you know, make sure you're still alive.
10. "I love you!"
Because just like your real moms, friend moms love you just as much and love being your mom away from mom.
