1. Riding the stag.
Riding the stag is a tradition at Fairfield University. Whether it was during the day or night, sober or not, you've done it. Of course there are always embarrassing pictures as evidence.
2. Being written up your first week.
"Who gets written up their first week?" That is the question everyone asked right before it happened to them. If it didn't happen to you, consider yourself one lucky stag.
3. People playing the "penis game" across the quad at ungodly hours.
It happens. Whether it was at 11 p.m. or 2 a.m., people shouted "penis" across the quad which led to an even louder response.
4. Wanting to be or wanting to be with one of the soccer boys.
There is only one adjective to describe them: hot. Whether it was a first glance or hearing them speak for the first time, those boys caught any and every girl's attention. They are considered Fairfield boys' biggest competition. What's not to love about an amazing body and British accent? If they aren't British, they're cute anyways.
5. Being or seeing people get transported.
It hasn't happened to everyone, but it's definitely been seen by everyone. Whether it was at 8 p.m. or 1 a.m. on a weekend or weeknight, you could always count on seeing DPS lights at least once a week.
6. Missing the stag bus by a minute.
No matter how fast you run or how early you leave your room, you missed the stag bus at least once. Do they wait for anyone? OF COURSE NOT! It doesn't matter if they see you running in their rearview mirror. The minute the departing time shows up on the bus clock, you can count on the drivers closing the doors and driving away.
7. Being drunk at Barone.
Whether it was after a day drink or during midnight breakfast, you showed up drunk at least once to Barone. You could always count on the meal servers to keep it your little secret because no matter how hard you tried to hide it, they always knew.
8. Being asked, "Who do you know here?" at the townhouses.
Whether you knew the owners or not, you were asked this question. It's the juniors' right of passage. Could you really own a townhouse without asking this infamous question to freshman?
9. Losing your StagCard.
It doesn't matter how hard you tried to keep it safe, you lost it. Eventually you found it again, but you did have to pay the $25 replacement fee at least once.
10. Turkey attacks.
You are no stranger to the famous turkey attacks. You saw it happen or it happened to you. They seemed harmless at first, but out of nowhere, those suckers went after you.
