10 Things You Have To Do When In The Happiest Place On Earth

1. Take a picture in front of the castle.

Did you even really go to Disney World if you didn’t post a picture of you in front of the castle?

2. Go on the ride It’s a Small World.

Although the song will be stuck in your head the rest of the day, it is a classic and one of the first rides in the park. A trip to Orlando is incomplete without going on this ride.

3. Visit Harry Potter World.

Every detail of the buildings, wands, and characters will take your breath away. You feel as though you are a part of the movie especially if you get an active wand that allows for you to turn things to magic in the park.

4. Take a picture with the Disney characters.

You will always be able to reflect on the memories made in each individual park with all of the different characters that you loved during your childhood.

5. Tour all of the country towns in Epcot.

From England to Canada to Mexico and many more, each country is a great replica of the culture, drinks, and food. The variety of people in our world is celebrated with a show and fireworks starting at 9 p.m. each night.


6. Have dinner in Downtown Disney (Disney Springs).

Downtown Disney, recently renamed to Disney Springs is full of shopping, eating, and entertainment along a beautiful scenery.

7. Buy yourself a pair of Mickey or Minnie Mouse ears.

Every picture taken in Disney world is better with mouse ears. It gets you in the spirit of Disney each day.

8. Go on as many roller coasters as you can.

Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Universal Studios has many high, dark, and fast rollercoasters if you are looking for an adrenaline rush.

9. Enjoy the weather.

There is nothing better than enjoying the parks in the beautiful weather. Especially for those coming from the northern states where the sun and heat is hard to find.

10. Watch the fireworks at night in the Magic Kingdom.

The castle lightens up at night with tinker bell soaring from atop the castle is something I will never forget. The fireworks are unlike anything I have ever seen due to the animated video projected onto the castle.
