I have had many blessing and many pains in my life, and the greatest of these pains and blessing are my many siblings. However there is nothing is no other clique Id rather be apart of.
1. Getting places on time is not your forte.
Getting out the house is a game siting in the car and waiting as your family slowly trickles in. Its a game of bumps in socks and not the right pairs of shoes. And often times its the result of a sibling that takes too long in the bathroom. Try as you must, at least one person is always straggling behind. But oh well, you can't win them all in life.
2. No need to carpool, y'all already take up your own car without the extra neighborhood kids.
Everyone else is pulling up to school with their friends but not you. You get to ride with all you siblings. That means the crying baby, the terrible toddler and the sassy teenager, among other personalities that may exist in your household.
3. Getting what you wanted wasn't that hard because you had a whole team to back you up.
Never has belonging to this tribe been so great, because when Mom tells you no, you have an angry army that you know has your back. Let the repetitive begging and the slowly wearing down of your parents until that no becomes a yes begin.
4. Not being to play with your friends wasn't much of a punishment because some of them already lived with you.
Grounded for the month, no problem. I'll just keep walking down the hall to someone agrees to play with me. But good try, Mom and Dad.5. Wrestling indoors is a must.
Because why else would your parents have had so many children.
6. You shared a room at some point in your life.
Somehow, your parents are the ones that decided they wanted all these kids but you are the one that has to share a room. But its not all bad. That means every night is a sleepover in your house.
7. Your house is never quiet.
And while everyone would think its because of all the feet running around and all the little voices. You know that most the noise comes from the unending picking that occurs in your household.
8.You may have gotten left behind a time or two by your parents.
When some many children to keep track of and outnumbered parents sometimes things get left behind. And sometime that thing is a child.
9. Your parents call you by every name but your own, and this sometimes includes your dog's name.
Yeah, my name isn't Louie. That's the dog's name, but I'll let that one slide just this time since you put a roof over my head and food in my mouth.
10. You fight a lot
But at the end of the day you love each other even more. These crazy people are there with you for the long haul so never stop loving them!
