Victoria Secret is one of the most popular lingerie brands and sells more bras than any other lingerie company. We are also dedicated to finding your perfect fit. Bra Specialists at Victoria Secret have been trained in order to be able to help you and find your perfect fit for you, seeing that the majority of women wear the wrong bra size. I am here to help you. However, you, the shopper, could also help me. Here are 10 things that I as a Victoria Secret Bra Specialist, would like you to know.

1. Please don't tell me that you are "just looking"

When someone walks into a lingirie store, the majority of the time, they are not just browsing. Either you need a new bra to go with this new outfit you want to wear, you want to shop promotions, or you are in need of a new bra for whatever reason, nine times out of ten, you are in the store for a purpose. I am a bra specialist. It is my job to help you navigate the drawers and direct you to the exact style that you are needing. Utilize me, I really want to help you.

2. I have been trained to help you find the perfect fit.

Every time I work, I will measure someone and have them give me a blank stare about the size I tell them, until they try on the bra, and realize how much more comfortable the new size is. Victoria Secret as the completely incorrect reputation that we size everyone into a D. We want you to be in the perfect size for your body. Trust us, 85 percent of women wear the wrong bra size. Let us measure you and give you the perfect fit.

3. Cup Sizes are not Universal

If you come into the store wearing a 32D and I measure you as a 36 chest size, your cup size will go down. The D cup for 32 is drastically smaller than the D cup for a 36. Try on the new size, and see for yourself how much more comfortable you will be. The only thing that matters about size is that it fits you, not how it sounds or looks. You may be a much bigger or smaller cup size than you assumed. Try it on and then we can discuss how it fits your unique shape.

4. Sister Sizes

If you go down a band size, you must go up a cup size. This is called a sister size, and the sizes for the band and cup will be very similar. If you are in love with a color but we are out of your measured size, lets check for your sister size. Chances are, it will fit you just as great. As an example, if you wear a 32B your sister size will be a 34A.

5. Please don't rummage over the tops of the Panty Bar

Every night, we delicately fold and color coordinate the panties displayed on the tops of each panty bar. This takes hours and can be very frustrating. Every panty on the top of this bar is a size medium, so there is no reason to go through the stack looking for sizes. If you wear a medium, and we have a color you like, check the drawer first because chances are that color is available in your drawer and we do not need to touch the tops. The top of the panty bar is to serve as a display to make shopping better and easier for you. Utilize the drawers, and leave the tops to serve their purpose as a display.

6. Do not be embarrassed to talk about your fit issues, or breasts in general

I have heard and seen it all when it comes to women's bodies. Do not be embarrassed to talk to me. What you may think is completely embarrassing, is probably nothing compared to the things I have heard. I do not judge, I am just here to help you get what you need. I can only do that if you share with me your story. Most of the time I have to ask a variety of questions to get you to open up to me about your needs. I am here to help you, and it is just as fulfilling to me to see you leave the store comfortable and happy as it is for you.

7. The majority of your support comes from the band, not the cup.

I want your band to be nice and snug around your back. No, it should not be squeezing you so tightly that you are uncomfortable, but in order for it to do its job, it needs to be snug and lying flat. If the band rides up, it is too small and cannot do its job. Likewise, if it is too loose it cannot do it's job either.

8. You need a bra fitting every six months.

Hormones, weight gain or loss, gravity, etc. all have a strong affect on your bra size. These things are changing constantly, and can make your bra size change about every six months. Sometimes your bra size will not change over this span of time, but you need a fitting to make sure as often times your size does change.

9. Please try to remember the name of your Bra Specialst

Just like in every job, measuring success is the key to ensure that you are doing your job right. If I help more women get a new bra that they love, then I know that I am doing my job well, and helping you out to the best of my ability. If you forget to say my name, then my success is not accurately measured. The amount of customers I was able to help, is a large portion of feedback from my customrs. It allows me to make adjustments in order to help you out and better serve your needs if my numbers were low on one particular day. By remembering my name you are giving me feedback on my ability to help you.

10. Give us feedback

If we give you a bra to try on that you don't like, please tell me why so that I can find you something better. My goal is to make sure your needs are met so please provide feedback. The more you share with me, the more I can help you.

I hope to see you at Victoria's Secret soon! Come in and Ill be happy to find you your perfect fit.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
