The new year has arrived and what a year it has been so far. The year 2017 has already made an impression on us and we have only begun. Looking back on what we have accomplished as a generation brings to light that not everything was as glamorous as it is now. The countless social media sites. The advancement of technology. The different types of music and entertainment that sweep us off our feet. It is amazing to look back and see what we gained many years back. Here is a list of things that occurred 10 years ago:

1. No one had an iPhone 10 years ago. The first one came out in June 2007.

2. This unforgettable ogre... hold the onions.

3. The memorable video titled "Charlie Bit My Finger" appeared on YouTube 10 years ago.

4. One of the most memorable dance moves turns 10 this year.

5. We were all channeling our inner "Led Zeppelin" with this addicting game that came out 10 years ago.

6. 10 years ago, this kid uploaded his first YouTube video. I think it was a success.

7. "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2" came out July 2007. While the fifth film, "Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix" came out recently after. Hold back the tears.

8. One of the best movies ever filmed.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
