Transitioning into a life without your parents guiding you can be hard. You may feel homesick, alone, and at times even angry because you have no idea what kind of decisions to make. Leaving your friends behind can be tough too, especially when you've grown up with them and they're all you've ever known. What's worse is when they're spreading out all over the country and you'll hardly get to see each other...which means making new friends.
Anyways, as school began to approach more quickly, I was beyond nervous wondering who my roommate would be, if I'd like her, if she was weird, what she looked like, etc. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to get stuck with one of the most beautiful, compassionate people I have ever met. And since day one we became best friends.
So here's some little things that have happened since we became best friends.
1. We share our bomb ass make up with eachother because friends who slay together, stay together.
2.We go to adventurous places on our study breaks.
3.We give each other crazy hair makeovers late at night.
4. We show off our Wisconsin pride at the State Fair.
5. We go on late night runs to Applebee's for half price apps.
6. We go on long drives to random places.
8. We take cute pictures at photo booths.
9. We take cute selfies before leaving the parking garage.
10. And lastly we make memories together, like going to last minute drag queen shows and taking selfies with people we don't know.
So thank you Natalya for being the amazing, loving, and compassionate person you are. I wouldn't want to start off my college experience with anyone else, better yet have anyone else as my roomate. And shout out to Jasmine for being a dope friend and being our third musketeer. I love you girls.
