One of the many perks from living in my hometown of Coronado is the fact almost everything you need is merely a hop skip or a bike ride away. This lead to me watching my 16th, 17th and 18th birthday pass before finally getting my license. Afterall, whats the point when you can bike just about anywhere?
1. Being that you are now an "adult" and all now, you'd like to think that among all the complexities of life that you've figured out, you've also been able to learn to drive by mere observation. This, however, is almost never the case.
2. And if you did make it to 18 knowing how to drive but lacking your license, no one will believe you when you protest that you can, in fact, drive.
3. So you practice and practice and practice. And then, you practice some more.
4. And if you have been exercising your ability to drive sans said license, paranoia has been in your passenger seat for quite some time. Your worst fear has been getting pulled over and handing over a library card in place of a license.
5. And out of this fear, you have become very Very accustomed to being driven around. You're also eternally grateful to the creator of Uber.
6. You also have run out of shame when it comes to asking your friends to take you somewhere.
7. Your friends never let you forget that you can't drive. Even if you swear you can.
8. But after you do get your license you know you'll be the official driver
9. And you're reaaaally looking forward to all the excursions you'll go on once you finally do get your license
