There's nobody quite like a best friend. When you and your best friend get together, you know that you are always going to have a good time. From laughing to crying you know that there is nothing you and your best friend can't handle. Only a lucky few of us get the actual chance to live with our best friends, and even if it is just for a short while, it is sure to change your life. Sadly, sometimes it doesn't work out. But when it does, it can be the most amazing life changing experience that all BFFs should get to experience. Here are some things that happen when you live with your best friend.

1. The first few days are like a vacation.

You spend the first few days staying up late, doing all of your favorite activities and just being excited together.

2. You start to create a system.

Slowly but surely your ways love living combine and you have your own little system of how things get done.

3. You start turning into the same person.

As if you already weren't exactly the same, you basically become one person from doing everything together.

4.You might get a little sick of each other.

Too much time spent with anyone isn't a good thing. Luckily you and your bff have the type of relationship where you can just speak your mind and say when eachother is getting under your skin.

5. You learn new things about each other.

You start to learn who your best friend really is and all the weird things they do but thats okay, you still love her very much.

6.Every night is a party.

Since everyone knows that you live together and knows how much fun the two of you are, your house naturally becomes the party house.

7. You take up new hobbies together.

You motivate each other to do workouts, dance and play games. Pretty soon you have a whole bunch of new hobbies that only make sense to the two of you.

8. You become each other's personal therapist.

Hard times are a little easier to get through when your best friend lives in the same house as you. And when you need someone to talk you out of bad decisions you know shes got your back.

9. You go on adventures.

There is no time to be bored because you always find new places to go whether it is a cute little farmer's market to checking out the nightlife, you bring the party whenever the two of you walk in.

10.You grow even closer.

There's no denying that after living with your best friend your friendship strengthins and nobody will ever quite understand the bond you share. When the sad day comes that you no longer live together, you'll always look back and agree that those were the best days of your life.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
