Her first child is Zola, she and Derek adopt her after she visits their hospital, next is Bailey (named after Dr. Bailey of course), and finally, Ellis, named after her mother.

2. Izzie Has Cancer

When she finds out she keeps it a secret for as long as she can, until fear of her life becomes a huge issue.

3. George And Callie Get Married, He Cheats With Izzie

And eventually, Izzie leaves the show due to an argument with writer Shonda Rhymes. George and Callie get a divorce.

4. George O'Malley Dies In Season 5

He jumps out to save a woman who is hit by a car, and is eventually taken to Seattle Grace Hospital as a John Doe where Meredith realizes who he is, he later passes.

5. Callie Torres Is Bisexual

She eventually marries Arizona Robbins, then they get divorced.

6. Mark And Lexie Die Together In The Plane Crash

They were in love, so this is actually a sweet, sad goodbye

7. Arizona Loses Her Leg In A Plane Crash

Eventually, you can not even tell she has a fake one, this takes some time.

8. Derek Is Hit By A Truck, and Dies

The writer, Shonda Rhimes says she did not want Derek to just leave Meredith, and since Patrick Dempsey was leaving the show, she kills him off to keep their love alive forever.

9. Cristina Leaves Grey Sloan To Take Over Burke's Research Hospital Overseas

Shane, her student, decides last minute to follow her.

10. Meredith becomes Chief Of General Surgery, Shortly After Bailey Becomes Chief Of Surgery

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
