Although it's acceptable to eat a smoothie bowl at any time of the year, summer is smoothie bowl season, and I could not be any more excited to get back into eating and making my own bowls. If you're a smoothie bowl connoisseur like I am, then you might be able to relate to these:

1. You make or buy a smoothie bowl at least twice a week

If there's one thing to learn from all of this, it's that there's never such thing as having too many smoothie bowls. Plus, at least they come with a lot of great health benefits!

2. You've tried all of the different smoothie base flavors

From acai to pitaya to blueberry, the possibilities are endless. And every time you go to your local smoothie bowl chain you get a different base flavor because you're not picky about your order.

3. You overload on all of the toppings

I mean, come on, this is a given! There's no argument that the toppings are the best part about the entire bowl since they give that extra flare to the bowl itself. Also, a smoothie bowl is never complete without some granola, nut butter, or various types of fruits on top.

4. You finish them way faster than you wish you did

Once you see the empty bowl in front of you, you suddenly wish you still had a few more pieces of fruit and granola in the bowl that you could eat, because it was just so damn good.

5. You're willing to drive a little bit out of your way to get one.

If there are no more ingredients left in the fridge to make one for yourself at home, then you're willing to do whatever it takes to get one in your stomach as fast as possible. Because at the end of the day, smoothie bowls are what matters to you

6. You're considered a regular customer at your favorite smoothie bowl place

Everyone on the staff knows your name and your exact order every time you walk in that at this point, you're practically friends with everyone working there because of how often you go. But regardless of this, you have no regrets.

7. If your friends ask where to eat, you immediately suggest a smoothie bowl place

Forget about sushi or pasta, smoothie bowls will make everyone feel happier and satisfied by the end of the meal.

8. You always try to make your smoothie bowl look artsy enough

And no matter how hard you try to put your decorative skills to use, it'll never look as good as pictures you see on Pinterest and Tumblr

9. Smoothie bowl season is not just the summer

Who cares if people are staring because it's only 7-degrees outside and you're downing an acai bowl? After all, they're the ones that are truly missing out on this delicious experience. The cold never bothered you anyway.

10. You now want a smoothie bowl after reading this

Don't even lie to yourself.

Happy eating!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
