The weather's getting warmer, we're able to wear shorts again and midterm grades have stressed us out completely which leaves us desperately wanting spring break. Powering through this week includes some of the biggest struggles that have to face.

1. You can only think about your spring break plans in class

2. Trying to finish those last minute assignments your professors piled up for the week before spring break like...

3. Checking your midterm GPA but not worrying about it because, "nah sprang break"

4. Thinking about all the work you have to get through before you start vacation

5. Watching all your friends snapchats who have an earlier spring break than you like...

6. Trying to make your spring break countdown go faster like...


7. The amount of effort you have to go to class


8. Realizing your spring break body isn't ready yet


9. But trying on your bathing suit anyways like

10. Because you know once you get there you'll have no worries

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
