10 Things To Say To The Person In The Mirror

Some people say that we are our own biggest critic. It's easy to find flaws in ourselves when we feel down, and that can make us insecure. However, our flaws don't define who we are, and we are perfect even with our flaws. It doesn't matter if anybody notices our flaws or if we are the only ones who see them, our strengths are what we should be noticing more. Forget about your shortcomings and pay more attention to what makes you shine. Take time to notice how amazing you are as a person, and when you look in the mirror and feel insecure, tell yourself these truths:

1. You are beautiful.

You are a beaming radiation of beauty. Your attractiveness surpasses all doubt. Your hair is perfect the way it is. Your smile creates a chain reaction of smiles. You're hotter than a bbq on the Fourth of July. You have a natural glow about you that cannot be dimmed.

2. You are strong enough.

Of course life throws you obstacles. If life was easy all the time it would be a one-way street that leaves no room for a change of direction. You can overcome anything you face. Even when things seem impossible, you are strong enough to get through it and you will come out on top.

3. You can do anything.

That may sound cliché but it is the truth. The world is yours and if you have plans to do good, go for it! Nothing is too hard as long as you try. When people put you down, or if you put yourself down, remind yourself that every goal is reachable. Anything you set your mind to do can be accomplished and never forget that.

4. You are more than good enough.

If anyone tells you otherwise, their shoes are untied because they're trippin'!! You are even more than good enough, you're worth anything and everything that you work for. It's not always easy to see it, but you are perfect and don't need to change. You exceed all expectations just by being the way you are.

5. You can make a difference.

One person has the power to make an infinite amount of people happy. By helping just one person, you're helping millions (chain reaction). You can be the honey that sweetens someone's tea, or the frosting on their mini wheats. Look at yourself and recognize that you can make a difference in people's lives for the better; and by doing that the world is growing in love.

6. You are perfect.

Every part of you is 100 percent amazing. You are the human form of sensation. No matter what people say, no matter what you go through, you are undeniably perfect and there is no bringing you down. Name your insecurities Felicia and tell them bye!

7. You got this!

Whatever you want in life, whatever your hopes and ambitions are, whatever direction you're heading towards, you got this!! Confidence sometimes can get lost or lowered during life's hardships but don't forget that you can do anything. That one thing that seems impossible has nothing on you.

8. You don't need to compare.

What other people do or have does not need to affect you. Don't think that other people are smarter or prettier than you. If somebody has more than you, be happy for them and if somebody has less than you, help them rise up. Other than that, don't feel the need to compare yourself to anyone. You're the best you.

9. You are just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside.

You are such a great person. You may feel down about yourself sometimes so it's important to remember that your heart and your personality are the utmost peak of excellence. You have an astonishingly lovely soul. Your attitude is a gift. Present it well.

10. You are loved.

When you feel like everyone is against you, or that you're all alone, keep in mind that you are loved. There are people everywhere who love you and love loving you. Regardless of who you have or don't have in your life, you are so loved. If you don't feel it, know inside that you are loved. If you question yourself, remember how much you are loved. You are so immensely loved that nothing can bring you down. You are loved for you.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
