Honestly, I have the best of both worlds. I love being a girly tomboy for so many reasons, but here are only 10 of why it is truly awesome.

1. I can get my hands dirty right after getting my nails done.

I love getting manicures, it's a great way to relax. However, I also don't mind doing things that might smudge my nails right after getting them done.

2. I can go from wearing my vans to heels in a few seconds.

Sometimes, I just want to be comfortable, but other times, I wanna strut in my cutest heels.

3. I can go from watching the Bachelor to yelling at a football game.

The Bachelor is my guilty pleasure. I get way too into it, but I also get way too into it when my Spartans take the field every Saturday in the fall.

4. I often plan my shopping trips around football games.

Of course, I love to shop and take trips to the mall, but I have to make sure I am home in time for the first quarter of big games!

5. I have more clothes because I have different tastes.

I like to wear cute skirts or dresses, but other times I'm fine with jeans and a sweatshirt and my vans. It just depends on my mood.

6. I raise eyebrows when I talk about sports.

This is probably one of my favorites. Yes, I'm a girl and I like to look good, but I know my stuff about sports. The minute I say something about football that is not common sense, many people look surprised. I personally love it. I'm proud of my sports knowledge (thanks, Dad!).

7. It takes me less than five minutes to put on makeup.

I know some girls that can spend up to an hour doing makeup. That's not my style. I usually put on coverup and mascara and call it a day, but even that isn't every day.

8. I set my fantasy football line up then look at cute outfits on Pinterest.

I love fantasy football, and I even won my first year! However, the girly side of me also likes to look at fierce clothes after I'm done deciding who is starting in my line up for the week.

9. I clean up well.

Often times you will find me with my hair messy in a baseball hat or in a ponytail, but on my good days, I'll straighten my hair, wear a bomb outfit, and look like a different person.

10. I love trying new things, even if it is out of my comfort zone.

Part of why I love the relationship that I am in is because he teaches me to do things I have never done before like fishing and shooting a pistol. I was a little hesitant, but I am so glad that I learned because now I love doing them both.

As you can see, being a girly tomboy definitely has its perks. I didn't choose the girly tomboy lifestyle, the girly tomboy lifestyle chose me.
