10 Things Only Kids Living In The Dorms Understand

1. Making friends with your RA's is such a good idea.

2. Being messy isn't really an option because there's no space for it.

3. You'll never appreciate your bedroom being next to the bathroom more than you do when you're walking all the way to the other end of the hall at 3AM just to pee.

4. You probably took having a working shower for granted when you lived at home.

5. You're given an opportunity to make lifelong friendships with some amazing people.

6. Your food is now everyone else's food too.

7. You lock your door at night because odds are someone's gonna bust in there just before you fall asleep.

8. Your hygiene habits are on display for everyone to see... so uh, be clean please.

9. Anyone will fight for their washer or dryer on Sundays.

10. As much as it sucks, it's that "college experience" that I wouldn't trade for anything.
