Okay ladies, I know this may sound kind of dumb, but guys have feelings too.
Sure, as the male gender we're expected to pursue the opposite sex. But guess what, we like being pursued just as much. The unwritten rule of men is that we need to be the ones who chase after women. While I 100% agree with this rule, that doesn’t mean the lady being chased can’t give the guy a little reciprocation of the same rule.
A guy doesn't want to pursue you if while you are talking to him, you manage to have numerous guy friends that you do things with all the time. A man wants to hear that he's the only guy you look at, think about and truly care for. That’s just part of being human. We all want to feel like we are someone else’s everything, even if we aren’t.
So ladies, here is a list of things to know what guys really want from you, but won’t admit:
1. A real man wants a girl who is independent.
Guys like a woman that has a life of her own and isn’t completely focused on what her guy is doing every second off everyday. A man doesn’t want to feel like you're monitoring him by messaging him every minute on the minute. Give him some space and let him know you have other things going on besides just sitting at home texting him for hours. Show him you are more motivated than that, and you're giving him the time of day because you are just as interested.

real man wants a girl who is modest.
This one is a huge one that I have discussed with several girls already. YES! A man does want a modest girl. Even if a man sees a girl in a picture or on television in a swimsuit and it holds his eyes for longer than you would like, don’t feel like that is something he truly wants. A gentleman is attracted to a woman who doesn’t flaunt her body or wear revealing clothing. Women tend to do this because they think it is what guys want, but more times than not this draws negative attention and guys that only want you for your showcasing: your body.
3. A real man likes to be complimented on how he looks.
Just like you ladies, your man wants to know that you find him physically attractive as well. Your guy doesn’t want to constantly guess at the fact that you find him appealing. Tell him you think he looks dapper in his suit or dress shirt. Let your guy know he caught your eye and that you notice the effort he puts into cleaning up for you.
4. A real man wants a woman to continuously tell him she is drawn to him.
Men like to be told by a woman that they have a great personality and can make them laugh. Physical attraction is a large part of dating and being with someone because we want to be proud to hold the other person’s hand in public. However, this is not the only thing a man is concerned with. He wants to know more than anything you enjoy being around him for his personality and that he doesn't bore you or make you feel awkward when you both hangout.
5. A real man doesn’t want a woman to always talk about her guy friends.
Sure ladies, your man wants you to have guys that are friends. But he doesn’t want to hear you talk about how sweet, nice and great these other guys are. Your man wants to know that he is the only one you try to impress. Just like you don’t want to hear about the girls who he is involved with. Try to give your man the same respect.
6. A real man likes a determined woman who knows who she is.
Let me be the first to say, there is nothing more attractive than an intelligent woman. A woman who knows what she wants and stays true to who she is and her morals. This draws a guy to her more than wearing something in order gain attention. If you stand firm in who you are and don’t change yourself in order to impress a guy, he will notice, trust me. Let your man know who you are and show him you aren’t like any other woman who will conform for a guy. Your God is the only man you should try to impress, how can any guy disagree with the number one man in your life?
7. A real man wants a positive woman who puts a smile on his face.
Try to be as agreeable as possible and he will do the same for you. Men do not like a woman who deliberately disagrees with him. You do not have to obey him like a child, but give him the respect of at least listening and understanding what his reasoning for something is. If you do not agree with your man’s opinion, tell him. But don’t be so ready to force him to adapt to your way of thinking that you disregard his belief. Men don't like to be forced to conform by other men, let alone the woman they like.
8. A real man likes a women who is self sacrificing.
When your man is sick or has a bad day, he wants to know he can come to you to put a smile on his face. Care for your man and show him that you really do want to please him. Instead of focusing 100 percent on things you have going on, at least try to be there for him when he does need you or ask you for help. Try to anticipate what your man will need in order to keep him from doing so. A man hates asking for help, so make sure to be persistent in helping him with something even if he denies your help a couple times. Let your man know that he means something to you and that he is worth the sacrifice.
9. A real man likes a woman to be thoughtful.
Men like to be surprised too! Make him brownies or do something sweet for him sometimes just to let him know you're thinking of him. Men love food and will hardly ever turn it down if you make it. As they say, a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Praying for he and others is thoughtful as well. Men like to know you are a woman who tries to make other people feel wanted and loved.
10. A real man likes a woman who appreciates his efforts.
If your man plans something and is thoughtful, he likes to know you understand the time, effort and work he went through in order to delight you. Act overly surprised when he does something thoughtful. This will encourage him to do more if he knows you truly appreciate it. A man loves to make his woman feel loved and adored. Let him dote and you and love every minute of it!
