As "Gossip Girl" lovers, we can all go on and on about the reasons we look up to this show and what it's shown us. Even though the setting of this show is most likely not realistic in our realm of a world, we still somehow get sucked into it with no remorse. Each character is unique in their own way and there's so much that we hate to love. Here are some of the life lessons that we can thank to "Gossip Girl."

1. "You need to be cold to be a queen."

As B told J, you have to be cold to be a queen. Sometimes, you don't have to be as nice as everyone else. It's okay to say no. Do what you must do in order to reach the top and don't let anyone or anything get in your way.

2. Everyone deserves their Chuck Bass.

When it comes to true love, these two have it and so much more. Fight for what you want and need in a man and never settle for anything less. As Chuck said, "If two people were meant to be together, eventually they'll find their way back." Giving up is never an option.

3. "People don't tell you who you are. You tell them."

Never just sit there while people bad mouth you. Only you know what you have been through and what shoes you have walked through. Nobody else. Remember that.

4. If your friendship isn't like S & B's, then get a new best friend.

"Be careful who you open up to. Only a few people actually care, the rest are just curious." Yes, Serena and Blair have had their ups and downs. But in the end, they're indefinitely there for each other.

5. "Whoever said that money doesn't buy happiness didn't know where to shop."

Lets not limit ourselves now. Having a bad day? Take a load off and buy yourself something nice. No matter what they say, it can always make you feel a little better at the least.

6. Never surround yourself with horrid judging people.

This group of friends always defends one another no matter what the circumstances may be. They know each other's deepest secrets. But, no matter how awful they may be, they always remain judgment free.

7. Be blunt, and never hide anything.

As you can see from the "Gossip Girl" himself, our secrets will come out one way or another. Save yourself and tell the truth from the beginning. You'll be saving yourself the troubles.

8. We should all work as hard as it takes to have a Dorota.

Not only is there to do your shopping, laundry, and etc. But she is there to be your person who knows everything and anything about you (but of course, will never tell a soul). Dorota did a pretty good job at keeping Blair together and I'm there's nobody who could say they don't want a Dorota for themselves.

9. "Destiny is for losers..."

As the queen would say, "Destiny is for losers. It's just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen." Be more of a go-getter. You can't solely rely on people these days, you have to be independent and do things for yourself. Sometimes, you're all you've got.

10. "Fashion is the most powerful art there is."

No matter where you're going, be sure you're always dressed to the nines. The way you dress is how you express and represent yourself, so do it well.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
