I have more “guy” friends than “girl” friends. Not for any other reason than that has seemingly been my comfort zone. Growing up, I had mostly male cousins, I have a close relationship with my brother, and my dad is one of my best friends. So it is no surprise to me that a majority of my close friends are boys. Watching FOX’s "New Girl" is exceptionally relatable for me. These are the 10 things, that girls with boy best friends relate to, as told by "New Girl" gifs.

1. You always call each other out on being over emotional.

No, you are not going to "die alone" and no, you cannot sit here and cry.

2. You’ve definitely been each other's wingman before.

Whether it is pushing him to ask for her number or helping her get near that boy at the party -- you always try to help one another 'get' that eye candy!

3. You’ve definitely heard a little too much about one another's sex lives.

OK, I get that you brought home that girl. Oh, and her best friend. And her roommate from last year.

4. Boys help you come to the only solution to every problem: eating an offensive amount of food.

I'm sad about his new girlfriend being hotter than me. I'm sure the last thing I need is another pizza.

5. You’ve had countless conversations that begin with: ”I know I shouldn't text him, but..."

No, you will not text him. You deserve so much better than the way he treats you. Heck, look at the way I treat you!

6. After a night of partying, they understand that sometimes your clothes don't fit like they did before those beers.

It's OK. You're still beautiful.

7. There comes a point in time where you need to sit there while they watch ESPN all day and force you to sit there.

No, I haven't been staring at my phone for the last few hours, really. I have been watching the game.

8. When Sunday rolls around and you survived yet another weekend together.

It's not that I was worried about surviving or anything, but sometimes the combination of you and alcohol just gets a little out of hand.

9. You have spent so much time together that you start using the same phrases.

And when you use that phrase around other people, you feel the need to explain that he* got you to start saying it.

10. Whether you live near or far, you can say that your friendship has thrived and survived.

Because it isn't full of drama. Well -- sometimes.

So this is time to thank them for being your best friend despite gender differences. Here's to you!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
