Gingers, redheads, whatever you wanna call them, have their hair brought up a lot more often than you might think. For some curious reason, their hair seems to fascinate those with less unique colored hair and becomes a pretty big part of one's identity. As much as it may not be on your own mind every day, it certainly seems to be on the minds of others. Reactions to ginger hair vary across the spectrum from flattering to comments one can only hope were meant to be comments, but came out wrong. Anyone else born with these brightly colored locks can surely relate to the daily weirdness that comes with being a redhead.
1. You get comments on your hair on a daily basis.
2. You've been asked if you have a soul.
3. People act as though you're part of some kind of rare species and not just a person who happens to be a redhead.
4. Sunscreen is your best friend.
5. Everyone assumes St. Patrick's Day is your favorite holiday.
6. You get angry, and someone decides to mention how they heard that gingers have bad tempers.
7. People are always asking if your hair is natural. Strangers have stopped you on the street asking if you dye it.
8. Ariel was always your favorite princess despite having red, not orange, hair.
9. Strangers tell you you're so lucky to have red hair, but you can never really figure out why.
10. You've been told you look like Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams, Jessica Chastain or basically any other celebrity that looks nothing like you except for the fact that she has red hair.
This may not be the case for every ginger you know, but for most the experience of being a redhead can be pretty unique.
