They are many things you call a person who really loves books. Such names are a book lover, a book junkie Bibliophile, and my favorite is a Book Nerd. Book nerds are individuals who are obsessed with books. They are also fangirls or fanboys about literary work.
Here are 10 qualifications that make a book nerd:
1. Books are life!
If you spend your day just thinking about books or wondering what you're going to read next, chances are you're a book nerd.
2. Your TBR list is extensive.
Finding books and adding them to your TBR (to be read). Wondering if you'll get to the end of your list.
3. All you do is talk about books.
You will get super excited when you talk about books or anything remotely close to books.
Them: Hey, have you seen (movie title)
You: There's a book for that!
4. You are a part of the online book communities.
These communities are YouTube's
5. You have the "Book vs. Movie Adaptions Debate."
The most talked about on book-tube is the "is the movie better than the book??" conversation. The most common answer is yes, the book is better than the movie.
6. Book nerds will often compete.
By seeing how many books they have read or whether they read said book before the other person did.
7. The Physical book vs. Digital book rivalry.
This is one of the many dilemmas that all book-nerds face. Should you get the real thing or not?
8. You use books as decor.
This is when you finish your book and is a nice way for you to add books to you TBR, as well as an excuse to buy more books to read.
9. This is you in a nutshell.
When your friends want you to come hang out with them.
You at Barnes & Noble or a bookstore.
When you get the feels while reading.
When you get to the satisfying end.
