As your freshman year at Tulane comes to end, you are probably looking back and realizing that there is so much you have accomplished, but also there are so many things you're dying to do before you go home for the summer. So here are ten things you might not have done, that hopefully you can complete in the last ten weeks of the school-year.

1. Do something crazy!

Go to The Boot in sweatpants, try crawfish, or even alligator.

2. Be creative at Bruff.

Last week I had the revolutionary thought to make a quesadilla -- it was honestly life changing. Making milkshakes, cheese fries, or dessert waffles are also great options.

3. Take a selfie with every cat you see on campus.

Surprisingly, there are many cats just roaming around campus. Whether it be next to Le Gourmet, or behind the ROTC building, cats are everywhere.

4. Take a walk through Audubon Park.

The trees are honestly magical. If you haven't been, the park is just a few steps from Tulane and is a great way to spend an afternoon.

5. Watch the sunset at The Fly.

Bring some friends and a bottle of wine to have the best evening of the semester as you watch the sun set over the Mississippi River.

6. Step outside of your comfort zone.

Do something new with a new friend... you never know what special memories you could make.

7. Make sure everyone on social media knows how much you love Tulane.

Posting pictures of the Mardi Gras Tree, you at the front of campus on St. Charles, or just a picture of you decked out head-to-toe in your Tulane gear, make sure everyone at home and at all other schools are jealous that you live and go to school in the best city in the country.

8. Venture to the new floors of the Library.

Finals will inevitably come. Find a comfy chair with a nice view of campus to study (procrastinate) in.

9. Make plans to keep in touch with your friends.

At some point in the near future, your year as a freshman at Tulane is going to come to a close and you and your friends that you've made are going to have to part ways. This being said, though, make weekly FaceTime dates and make sure to keep in touch... until August!

10. Savor every last minute.

Although there are only ten weeks left, spend them having wine and cheese nights with friends, eating great food, and just soaking in every last bit of New Orleans and Tulane that you can before you go home for the summer.

"I've only slept nine hours over the past four days, so I'm right on the verge of a nervous breakdown." - Leslie Knope

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

1. When you've finally found the energy to leave your dorm room and walk into the lib like

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
