After leaving behind your sister as you leave for college, you will find yourself texting her for just about anything. You will bug her, annoy her, make her do your dirty work, and even gossip together. At the end of the day, you find yourself communicating with her every day in one way or another.

1. "Send me a picture of the dog"

This is a line you send daily. You didn't just leave your parents and your siblings, you left your best friend. With a little bit of complaining, she will respond with a blurry picture that will make your day. Just make sure not to mention that you miss the dog more than her.

2. "Facetime me"

When you are in your room when your roommate is gone, and binge watching shameless is getting tiring, the one person you know who will entertain you is your sister. This is the time you spend gossiping about your family and old classmates.

3. "Go tell mom to answer her phone"

We all know once your mom gets home, her phone lays in her bedroom where she can't be bothered by it; but, when you need to ask her how long to boil noodles, she won't answer. So you need a middleman and isn't your sister perfect.

4. "OMG, did you watch Riverdale last night?"

One thing you share in common with your sister is that you both binge watch the best shows, and of course, you have to talk about it the next day.

5. "What is the password for DISH?"

When you miss last night's episode of The Bachelor and you need to sign in to watch it, of course, she is the one who will be the one to bother your dad for it.. after some eye rolling.

6. "Sooo, there's this boy"

When your sister is your best friend, she is the first one you are going to expose all the details to about your latest crush.

7. "Did you see Billy Bob's story?"

You went to the same high school, you both know the same people, so of course, when someone puts something scandalous enough on their story, you are going to text her to gossip.

8. "GUESS WHAT!"

The second something major happens in your life, whether its the fact that you got free pizza today or that you ran into your ex-boyfriend on the quad, you will frantically text her so she is the first to know.

9. "Do you remember when.."

Every once in a while, you will find yourself remembering the time you overflowed the bathtub with bubbles or when she threw you down the stairs.

10. "I miss you, I love you."

Despite telling yourselves that you won't miss each other, you have to admit that you do in fact actually miss each other and can't wait until the next time you get to have a sleepover in your room.
