Summer is full of brunch, sun rays, and hopefully hot new songs you can plan a vacation too. So far, there has been a variety of releases that already leave me missing summer. Here are a few of my personal favorites:

1. Best Friend - Rex Orange County

Best Friend is a groovy California vibe that you can take on any road trip. This fun song is something that you will find yourself immediately singing along to. Lead singer, Alex O'Connor, has a wholesome voice that makes you feel like he is "your favorite boy".

2. Uh Huh - Julia Michaels

If you're looking for a flirty girl's anthem, then look no further. By the time school starts, you and your girls will have this tune stuck in the back of your heads (while leaving flirty winks for the cutie walking past you in the Quad).

3. Everything Now - Arcade Fire

If there was ever a song that would make you reminisce of a time full of billowy peasant blouses and unkempt beards, then this would be it. Even though you probably weren't alive during the "Summer of Love", this song will transport you back in time. Make sure you have a flower crown on your head and a meadow to prance through.

4. Heatstroke - Calvin Harris feat. Young Thug, Pharrell Williams, and Ariana Grande

I mean, we all expected a banger from The King Of Summer, Calvin Harris, but we never expected a collab like this. This song is for when you and you're friends are working on your tan at Quinn's Pond (when it's open, that is).

5. Gravity - River Tiber

I am going to be straight with you. Gravity is one of those slow jams that instantly makes you want to swing your hips and snap your fingers, simple as that. Just listen to it now.

6. Cruel Intentions - JMSN

JMSN will leave you feeling like you have cruel intentions of your own. If you ever need to take over the world or just make an entrance, this song will give you all the confidence to do so. Play it in the background while you're buffing out your smoky eye, and don't forget the red lipstick.

7. GIRLS GIRLS - Icona Pop

Remember the summer anthem "I Love It"? Well Icona Pop is back at it with another hot jam to get you pumped. Feel free to sing to this song in the shower or at a rave. My advice...start thinking of a dance routine now!

8. Hipster Girl - Falcxne & Naji

If the title isn't enough, then give these lyrics a laugh while you're dancing at the Mochi Bar in Whole Foods.

"She got her jeans from 1993
Copped the Reeboks before Yeezy
Brought AOL back from the dead
But she still don't use it cause it's not cool yet"

9. Moonlight - Grace VanderWall

Remember that ukulele sweetheart that debuted on America's Got Talent? Well, she has a killer single out now! Her sweet yet raspy voice, and killer strumming skills, will leave you wanting to learn to play the uke and sing like this child prodigy.

10. Love Less - R.LUM.R

Okay, I will be honest...I am biased about R.LUM.R. His voice is amazing, and I firmly believe that anything he puts out is fantastic! In Love Less, his lyrics pull out some tender feelings of heartbreak and leaves you wanting more. Be careful when listening to this song when you're going to brunch, because it may just leave you crying over your french toast.

Considering that it's only June, I am looking forward to all of the bangers that have yet to be released.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
