Because you know it's about to be a sh*tshow when the two of you are together.

I don't care what anyone says, visiting your best friend at their college is the absolute best way to spend your weekend. What could be better than meeting new people, seeing new places, making new friends, getting drunk and spending time with your partner in crime?

If you've never had the pleasure of visiting your best friend yet, here at the 10 stages you can expect to go through:

1. The excitement builds up

The week before you go to visit your best friend, it's all you can think about. Chances are you haven't seen your best friend in months and it's always exciting to see where other people go to school, what the atmosphere is like, and how it compares to yours!

2. The reunion hug

If you and your best friend don't run and jump into a hug once seeing each other, did you really go visit them?

3. Getting a personal tour of their campus

If it's the first time you're visiting them, get ready to walk all over their campus. You'll get a personal tour of where the best dining hall is, where their classes are that they constantly text you through and where they accidentally puked the weekend before after a night out.

3. You meet all of their friends

It's finally the time to meet all the people you've been hearing about the past few months. Don't be afraid of it being awkward, because most likely, they're going to become your friends too!

4. "What am I gonna wear?"

The getting ready process is always essential when going out, especially when at a different school. You'll probably rummage through your best friend's closet, trying on every dress and shirt possible, before revealing your look to her and all her friends for approval. Whether it's a yay or nay, they'll always be honest.

5. It's all about the pre-game

The pre-game essential to any college night out. You'll create the perfect playlist, equipped with the perfect amount of basic white girl songs and much needed throwbacks. The drinking games will be ready and the people will start pouring through the door quicker than the drinks your best friend keeps pouring down your throat.

6. Walking to the Bar

This may not be something that happens at every college, but the walk to the bar is a fun experience at my best friend's school. Nothing's better than a group of drunk college friends trying to find their way to main street, singing songs, shouting and saying hi to random people along the way.

7. Bar Hopping

Bar hopping is a must during any night out. Your best friend will show you the way around: which bars are the chill ones, which bars are filled with townies, which bars are acceptable to be "that" drunk girl at, which bars are their absolute faves and which bars are filled with freshmen aka "if you use a real I.D. to get into ____, you're too old to be going into _____."

9. Drunk Pizza

After getting sufficiently intoxicated, what's the first thing you look for? Food. I don't know about other schools, but at my best friends school, the drunk pizza after the club/bar is just as important as the going out adventure itself. The line is out the door, music is blasting through the pizza place, girls are stumbling and b****es are yelling at you for cutting the line. But who cares? Treat yo' self, eat that pizza girl.

10. You pass out

Literally. Until you wake up, eat breakfast, explore the city and get ready for the night all over again.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
