Come on guys, you know what it's like to be in college — especially if you're over-involved! Every semester has that same pattern of ups and downs you're all familiar with. Let's go over some of those "favorite" stages of every semester you go through...
1. The beginning excitement and determination.
You are ready to go! You have all of your binders planned out and you've read every single syllabus. You are shooting for the stars!
2. It's been two weeks, but you're still going strong!
You've only skipped maybe one or two classes, but you're getting your work turned in and you're doing that reading.
3. Do I really have to write this paper right now? Can it wait until I've gone out with my friends?
You've done a lot of work! You deserve to take a break and get a little drink and dance with your friends. You've earned it! Right?
4. You're a little stressed.
So you missed that one discussion post, and didn't do that one reading, but you should be fine.
5. Midterms are coming.

6. So you managed to pass that midterm, but now final projects are coming up.
The work is piling up and you are seriously regretting those few late nights out with friends instead of holed up in the library.
7. The strange transitional period a month before finals.
You don't really care about anything. You feel like a robot. You think you're just going to skate through the rest of the semester and not even care. You think.
8. The week before finals...
You realize that you actually do care and you have to prep hard for those finals. Which means guzzling as much coffee as humanly possible without dying.
9. Oh no ... finals.
You've studied, but you're panicking and the room is hot, the walls are closing in, you have to do this thing.
10. The hibernation period.
You can throw away those binders, kick off your shoes, and completely ignore everything. Until next semester ... and the cycle continues.
