10 Spontaneous Things To Do In College

College is a place where you are supposed to find yourself. It is the place where you are supposed to experience as much craziness as you can before you are pushed out into the real world. Yes, the actual school part of college is an immensely important part of it, but more importantly, it is a place to make memories that will last a lifetime. Don't let yourself cheat your way out of what is supposed to be the absolute best four years of your life. Do something you wouldn't think to do before, don't think about it at all just go for it.

1. Steal a street sign.

Okay, I don't know about you, but it's honestly one of my goals in life to steal a street sign. It's kind of a challenge I set up for myself because I'm five feet tall and street signs are well pretty difficult to acquire for someone of my stature, but no matter how you end up getting it, the story of how that sign magically appeared in your possession is one you will never forget.

2. Sneak into the Stadium of Your School.

When you think of spontaneous things to do in college, this is probably the first thing that comes to mind (that's at least somewhat appropriate). After hours in a place where you cheer on the athletes of your school? How is this not a goal for everyone?

3.Yell Random Things To Strangers Out of Your Car Window

Don't yell mean things. The point of this one isn't to be rude, it's just something funny to do to pass the time. Pass by a couple holding hands? Yell at them to use protection. See someone running to get to class? Tell them to run forest run. Be helpful, not hurtful, or just be completely random and yell things like HI GRANDMA it's funny just let it happen.

4. Adopt a pet.

Okay first let me start with saying, make sure you can take care of it and remember it's a living breathing thing that needs your care. So if you sincerely think you can give a pet a happy home, I say go for it. I mean I made the decision in 10 minutes and I'm still happy about it.

5. Go on Spontaneous Trips.

Have a free weekend? Get a few of your friends together and go explore somewhere, to be honest, you don't even have to leave town you could probably just find somewhere interesting near you and just go for it. Honestly, the best kind of trips are the spontaneous ones where you have no plans, there's no stress and all you do is have fun.

6. Find the Unicorn Statue.

This might just be a University of Arizona thing. But I was just informed that there is a unicorn statue hidden somewhere on campus, and now it is my mission to find it.

7. Crash a Party where you don't know anyone and make friends.

Don't feel nervous or awkward. One of the biggest things about college is to meet new people right? So just meet a whole new group of people, and the fun thing about this is that if you do embarrass yourself college is a big place and more likely than not you probably won't have to see any of those people again.

8. Pretend you're part of a tour guide group and ask the tour guide questions.

Legit just ask them about every single rumor you have ever heard about your school, and just see how they respond.

9. Spend all night talking to someone out of the blue.

Sometimes you find people who just instantly click with, just go with it go on a walk talk until the sun comes up. This isn't something you usually actively set out to do, but if the opportunity presents itself, don't get scared just let it happen.

10. If no one is dancing at a party, start dancing, make them dance.

Seriously make them dance.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
