Some songs just hit home. You can't help but dedicate them to bae. And no, I'm not referring to songs like, "I Love You Like A Love Song." That's just cheesy. No, I'm referring to specific lyrics that are REAL. Here are some of the ones I could think of.

1. "As Long As You Love Me" - Justin Bieber ft. Big Sean

"You the one that I argue with, I feel like I need a new girl to be bothered. But the grass ain't always greener on the other side. It's green where you water it."

Spending years and years with the same person can be hard for more than one reason, but at the end of the day, you know there's no one else you'd rather go through hard times with.

2. "Beautiful Soul" - Jesse McCartney

"I don't want my love to go to waste. I want you and your beautiful soul."

So true. When you find THE ONE, you'll quickly realize all that time spent with someone else was time wasted, and all you want to do is make up for lost time.

3. "19 You + Me" - Dan + Shay

"Someone who will be there for you when you fall apart; guiding your direction when you're riding through the dark."

There are times in life you just don't know what the heck you're doing. It happens to everyone. Bae never judges, always helps you find your way and take your next step because, let's be honest, it's hard starting over.

4. "The Reason" - Hoobastank

"And all the pain I put you through— I wish I could take it all away."

It sucks, but at some point during every relationship, things are said that cut deep. When you really love someone, those words you said will haunt you and, even if they've forgiven you, you'll always wish you never hurt them, to begin with.

5. " Boyfriend" - Justin Bieber

"I’d like to be everything you want."

No one is perfect, but that concept just isn't good enough sometimes. You know your boyfriend would like it if you did EVERYTHING for him, but that's just not how you roll. He loves you anyway. Yet, you know he would enjoy it more if he was with someone who did. You wish you could be everything for bae, but you're thankful they love you even if you're not.

6. "Scared To Be Lonely" - Martin Garrix and Dua Lipa

"It was great at the very start. Hands on each other, couldn't stand to be far apart. Closer the better. Now we're picking fights and slamming doors, magnifying all our flaws."

At some point, the honeymoon stage ends. And because every human is naturally selfish and flawed, you start pointing out bae's annoying tendencies and don't worry about hurting their feelings. You become less worried about what they think and worry more about having your own voice heard.

7. "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" - Meghan Trainor

"I won't take you for granted 'cause we'll never know when, when we'll run out of time so I'm gonna love you like I'm gonna lose you."

After spending years with bae, dating or married, you'll most likely have to support each other through a loved one's death. I've been to a few funerals since I started dating bae and, each time, I always thought to myself, "I'm so blessed to still have him."

8. "Grow Old With Me" - Tom Odell

"And our hands they might age and our bodies will change. But we'll still be the same, as we are."

I'm not old yet, but I've had a baby so I can relate to the body-changing part. It's incredible though, because no matter how much weight you gain or lose, how many stretch marks you may have or how wrinkly your skin may get, bae will always be in love with who you are in the body you have. They don't see flaws, they see unique imperfections that make you, YOU.

9. "Say You Won't Let Go" - James Arthur

"I'll wake you up with some breakfast in bed. I'll bring you coffee with a kiss on your head."

You can take this literally or metaphorically. Regardless, bae goes out of their way to make you happy. It may not be all the time, but they always know exactly what you need to be cheered up, whether it's breakfast in bed, a glass of your favorite wine or just a card that reminds you how much they love you.

10. "It's You" - Stephen Wrabel and Magical Thinker

"Every beautiful story, the beautiful sky, like a beautiful morning, a beautiful night; it's you, it's you."

I remember straight up asking my dad once why he always called my mom the most beautiful woman in the world knowing there were women younger than her who had prettier features like longer legs, a thinner figure, etc. I'll never forget what he said.

"Your mom did something none of those women have ever done. She gave me you and your siblings. She was there for you when I couldn't be. She took care of you in ways I never could. She's everything I'm not, and for that reason, she's the most beautiful woman I know, inside AND out."

That's a rough translation since he said it in Spanish, but you get the point. Love is truly a beautiful thing, and if you can't relate to any of the lyrics in this article, you might be dating the wrong person.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
