9 Signs Your Boyfriend Might Be Husband Material

1. He always, ALWAYS buys you food.

You know he's a keeper when he hypes you up to eat more, or gets the large fry when you say you really don't want anything, because he knows you'll end up taking some of his anyway.

2. He gets along with your family.

I never thought there would be a time where I WOULDN'T be anxious to bring a boy to family gatherings but here I am. I'm always exited to introduce him to new members of this crazy family, and those that he's met always ask about him and want him to come back around.

3. He knows EXACTLY how to take care of you.

Sometimes it's ice-cream, sometimes it's a back rub and venting session, and somehow he always knows which one I need.

4. You aren't scared to talk about a future together

Deep down every girl dreams about her wedding day and starting a family with the perfect man, so there's nothing like the excitement you get when your boyfriend starts talking about your future plans together.

5. He's not afraid to get emotional in front of you, and vise versa

There's just something not right about a man that can't openly express his emotions. It makes me feel good that he's comfortable venting to me about the stress in his life. And I love knowing he'll always be there as a shoulder to cry on.

6. He's good with kids

First of all, it's adorable. But secondly, it really shows his kind nature. Not to mention he'll clearly be good in the future!

7. He's a hard worker

Because nothing is more inspiring than watching him give whatever he does his all.

8. He's always down for an adventure

You two constantly go back and fourth with ideas on new fun things to do, and he's always down

9. He loves you more than anyone has loved you before

"Everyday is a new day for me to try and win you over" is my favorite quote of my boyfriend's. Even after 4 months he still gives me the same love he gave me when we first started dating and gives me butterflies. You know your boyfriend is husband material if he gives you more love than you ever imagined.

The library. Club lib. The place every college student goes when they want to try and be a productive member of society. Who better to explain your experience than Parks and Rec?

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
