As the semester, and the school year, is coming to a close you might find yourself wondering why you decided to stay in school with all these papers and projects coming up or getting stressed out by random stuff going on in your life. You may find yourself all too often thinking about summer, which leads you to think about seeing your best friend back home and hanging out with her again all day every day—oh wait, but you do have to find time to make some money too so maybe not all day but definitely every day. Here are 10 signs you are ready for your best friend to be back in your life for the summer:
1. You miss her walking into your house and yelling, "Hello Family!"
2. You miss your workout buddy—it's just not the same working out with anyone else. Besides, you often find yourself getting a good ab workout just from laughing so hard at her jokes.
3. You desperately need Panera back in your life and she's the only one who ever wants to go there with you.
4. A strong friendship doesn’t need daily conversation or being together, but texting her updates of your day-to-day life is just plain getting old.
5. You're getting pretty sick of people judging you at school for being weird when you know she would be right there with you doing the same stuff you do....probably being even weirder actually. A friend is someone who gives you total freedom to be yourself.
6. You not only miss her but you miss her family too.
7. You miss the fact that if you think something is funny you can 100 percent guarantee she will think it is funny too. Sometimes people just don't understand your humor, but you know she does.
8. Gossiping is just never the same without her because you know she will always be on your side even if she knows only half of the story.
9. You miss having jam sessions with her.
10. Last of all, you miss her words of wisdom when you need it most because you know she will always be brutally honest with you. You miss her jokes she tells you when you are sad or in need of comfort. And you just miss your sister from another Mr. and Mrs.
She always has my back, always knows what to say, and never fails to be there for me exactly when I need her. Because of you, I laugh a little harder, cry a little less and smile a lot more.
A friend is one who knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become and still, gently allows you to grow. -William Shakespeare
