Halloween is just around the corner and rapidly approaching. I couldn't be more excited for Halloween because I am a true Halloweenie. If you didn't know already, Halloweenie is defined as, "a person who loves Halloween above all holidays. Halloween is their Christmas, Easter, Valentine's and St.Patrick's day all-in-one. Of course this person probably dresses mostly in black, could be kinda scary themselves until you get to know them, makes cool props, decorates their yard and home like a haunted house and has no problem coming up with the most creative and original costumes ever to show up at a party." 1. You live for fall.
Nothing is more satisfying than when the seasons change from Summer to Fall. A true Halloweenie lives for that chilly weather, crunchy leaves and gorgeous scenery.
2. You go all out with decorations.
Whether you like a spooky feel or simply a cute autumn touch, you definitely go above and beyond with the interior and exterior decor. People often admire you for it too (like they should, obviously).
3. Halloween movies are your life.
There are certain movies that are very near and dear to your heart that you just have to watch during this time of year because, well, #Halloween.
4. Pumpkin flavored everything for the win.
The best thing about this time of year is the never-ending choices of pumpkin flavored items, which is what us, Halloweenies, dream about in the off-seasons.
5. Sweaters are your entire wardrobe.
Everyone Halloweenie is a guaranteed sucker for sweaters. We probably own 15+ sweaters each and consistently add more each year.
6. You love a good corn maze.
Nothing screams autumn and Halloween more than a classic corn maze at your local family farm. It is one of the many events that a Halloweenie dearly loves.
7. You go pumpkin carving every year.
You will never catch a Halloweenie NOT planning out their carving design for the next year's Halloween. It is easily one of the best parts of Halloween. Honestly, it is always a great time for us.
8. You host bonfires parties often.
A true Halloweenie loves nothing more than a warm bonfire on a chilly night filled with great friends and good food.
9. The paranormal fascinates you.
Being a Halloweenie, ghosts absolutely fascinate you. You love ghost stories, ghost tours, haunted houses and much more!
10. Costume parties are your forte.
Whether you're dressing up as your favorite movie character or as your classic devil, Halloweenies absolutely slay each and every costume party with their extravagant costumes and everlasting passion for Halloween!
